1964 Swiss Ammo straps for Rolex Sub (Ref 114606) 'No Date'
(Click on any photo to enlarge)
Hi strap lovers, here is a recently completed 1964 Swiss Ammo strap for Rolex Sub (model here on a Rolex Submariner Ref. 114060). I must say this strap look really tremendous on the watch. Rolex watches especially the Submariner are most often thought of in the bracelet and they do look great that way. Given the great design of the bracelet with the newly re-designed clasp, it's easy to forget that to put them on leather really brings out their vintage appeal even for the new beefier case design and changes the entire character of the watch. This 1964 Swiss Ammo strap is hand saddle stitching using Olive Drab waxed Irish linen thread is really in keeping with the military nature of the strap as well as the 'No Date' Sub aesthetic.

Caring for your handmade Dangerous9 strap:
Dangerous9 straps are made using the finest natural vege-tanned leather available. They have a hand buffed waxed finish, that is water repellant, but they are not water proof. Repeated exposure to water, salt, soaps, solvents or any other harsh chemicals will damage the leather and or the finish. Like a fine pair of handmade shoes, they should be waxed periodically using a nuetral or matching color wax. This will over time enhance the beauty of the finish and the wearablity of your strap. If these simple care instructions are followed, your strap should last a lifetime."
