Hi strap lovers. I want to share the latest completed Dangerou9straps American Alligator Rally strap for my very good customer's Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Speed Black II. This strap is a real looker using our finest Ebony Alligator and finely hand saddle stitching using 4 ply waxed Irish Linen thread in Butterscotch to match the rose gold bezel of the Chopard. Lined in super strong and moisture tolerant Australian Kangaroo, this strap should have no trouble going the distance in extreme rally conditions. The really holes are a real tradition with Chapard sporting watches and will look great paired with the Mille Miglia, but punching the them into the nearing completed strap is a bit of a hear stopper, because getting them wrong will destroy hours of work. I think that as you can see here the results are worth the effort.
Hi strap lovers. We're very excited to announce the arrival of the latest premium exotic skins - Niles Crocodile! This is the first time that we've had the opportunity to offer Nile Crocodile and think these skins are really wonderfully soft with a beautiful texture and color. The black has a great matte finish that is perfect for sportier straps and the Nicotine Brown has a great subtle color character and the really perfect satin finish. These skins will both make for very classy straps.
Hi strap lover's. We've been out searching the globe to bring you the very best and most interesting leathers for both straps and linings and have come up with some really beautiful new options that I think you'll love. First up is our new pebble grain leather that looks for all the world and feels just like bison leather. It's very thick and buttery soft as you can see from these photos. We're calling it 'Dakota' leather and it comes from the tannery in this beautiful light tan color, but can also be dyed to medium and dark brown as well as Olive, Charcoal and Black. The straps made from this leather will be incredibly soft and supple and have a casual finish with sanded, raw edges
Our second new leather that we're very excited about is our newly arrived 'Vintage Whiskey' Kangaroo leather. I've been working with Kangaroo as a lining leather for a while now and think it's got some really wonderful properties, being extremely tough and durable but also very soft and supple. It's no surprise that this leather is used for the most extreme applications such as motorcycle race suites and gloves. Our Black Kangaroo was most suited for use as lining leathers in our exotic skin straps, but our knew 'Vintage Whiskey' Kangaroo has a great color and texture that makes is perfect for outside the strap or as a lining. The color and taxture of this leather is just stunning and is very soft and with all the qualities of kangaroo leather that we love: supple, extremely moisture tolerant and durablity that can't be matched.
'Vintage Whiskey' Kangaro
Next up is our newly arrived Premium Calf leathers. These skins are also incredibly soft and durable. And we've got a nice little selection that can be used as either a lining or for the outer strap. In any case these leathers are beautifully smooth and the Olive Drab and Distressed Black show a lot of character.

Hi Strap lovers. I wanted to share a photo just sent my my very good customer Brett from OZ of his great Vintage Omega Speedmaster Pre Moon Calibre 321 fitted with his newly arrived Ebony Ostrich Leg skin strap with our custom 'Thick Curved Lug System' and 'SuperExotica' upgrades - lined with beautiful mustard Sea Snake super fine hand saddle stitching using 3 ply Ecru waxed Irish Linen thread. This watch/strap combinations was an instant classic when I made one several months ago for my very good customer Vincenzo from Barcelona's Speedmaster. I think Brett's looks every bit as great. Brett, Thanks for the photo, yours is our 'Watch of the Week'!
(Even the keeper is are lined with Exotic Sea Snake!)
Hi strap lovers. Here are a couple of photos send by my our very good customer in Australia showing off his beautiful PAM424 paired with his newly arrived Dangerous9 Safari Tan American Alligator. This strap is very special - with our 'SuperExotic' upgrade consisting of Ebony round scale American Alligator lining and super fine hand saddle stitching using butterscotch 4 ply waxed Irish linen thread. It's a brother to a strap we made for my great customer David from France for his PAM425.
Hi strap lovers. I am very please to show off this batch of 15 straps made for my favorite custom watch maker - Kaventsmann. Readers of this website know that I've been a big fan of Kaventsmann for a while and am the proud owner of a Kaventsmann Bathyal. I'm very happy to announce that Dangerous9straps has partnered with Kaventsmann to produce straps for their latest limited edition solid Bronze watch - the Triggerfish , which is now ready for release. The straps are made from our premium 4-5 oz vegetable tanned leather that we've hand antiqued, and individually hand stained and dyed with our custom blended Antique Walnut dye (so each strap is really one of a kind) and then hand saddle stitched with Military Green 4 ply waxed Irish linen. These straps have been heavily conditioned with Obenhauf's Heavy Duty leather protectant, so they really are as rugged and durable as they look but are still nicely supple for all day comfort.
The Triggerfish like all Kaventsmann watches are produced in very limited numbers (30 total pieces for the Triggerfish) and are selling fast, so if you'd like to add one to your collection, I strongly encourage you to contact either Michael @ Kaventsmann (for European based customers) or if you're in North American, contact Joe Demora @ Medora TIME (Kaventsmann's North American distributor).
I wanted to share this great photo of Syed's BR03 Blue Ceramic on his newly arrived custom Blue dyed Swiss Hides American Alligator with matching Turquoise linen stitching - What's to be said but 'Awesome'!
Here is a great photo from Joe Demora of Medora TIME's Kaventsmann Acropora on a Deep Blue Sharkie. I love this watch and Joe photography skill are really improving:-) This is our 'Watch of the Week' for sure!
Hi strap lovers. We had originally made this 3 layer Shark skin strap for my very good customer and friend Joe from Canada and founder of Medora Time's (Kaventsmann's official North American distributor) in white (undyed on the species) for one of his Panerai watches. But he decided to use it on his recently acquired Kaventsmann Acropora instead and asked that I dye the strap blue for him to match his Percula's beep blue dial. It turned out so nice, I couldn't resist putting it on my own Kaventsmann Bathyal for a quick photo shoot before sending it off to the Great White North. Thank you for your indulgence Joe and wear it well! If you're in North American and are interested in exploring the possibility of getting one of these awesome and extremely limited edition Kaventsmann watches for yourself, I encourage to you contact Joe at Medora Time. You won't be sorry you did!

Caring for your handmade Dangerous9 strap:
Dangerous9 straps are made using the finest natural vege-tanned leather available. They have a hand buffed waxed finish, that is water repellant, but they are not water proof. Repeated exposure to water, salt, soaps, solvents or any other harsh chemicals will damage the leather and or the finish. Like a fine pair of handmade shoes, they should be waxed periodically using a nuetral or matching color wax. This will over time enhance the beauty of the finish and the wearablity of your strap. If these simple care instructions are followed, your strap should last a lifetime."
