New Dangerous9strap for Louis Vuitton Lovely Cup

Hi strap lovers. This watch is a really beautiful piece. The LV Tambour lovely Cup Chronograph is one of my favorite ladies watches and I know for a fact that my beautiful wife Andrea shares my opinion on this. My very good customer Michael dropped by the Dangerous9 production facility (my house:-) in beautiful Southern California (soon to be moved to Munich, Germany) and left me this fine looking time piece along with his Cartier Santos 100 (more on that in another post) to have a couple of strap made. So, we looked at Caiman, and Ostrich and went though possible stitch color combinations, and he decided to go with a very bold Serpentine Grey Ostrich skin with matching grey stitching. He was keen to pick a skin that would match the grey sub-dial for the Tambour Lovely Cup. I think this choice was spot on and makes for a very sexy combination.
This strap is made for a lady and is very finely stitching in 4 ply Charcoal thread using an 8 stitches per inch saddle stitch. In keeping with a recent blog posting, this too is a very finely made strap, but I think still has all the attitude that a Dangerous9strap should have. If you've got a very special watch that needs a very special strap, shoot me an e-mail to talk about it and if your happen to be local, I'd love for you to drop by to check out all your options in person, where we can design the perfect strap just for you.

Dangerous9strap is moving to Munich, Germany

OK, strap lovers this is the big announcement for the year!! Dangerous9strap is moving it operations to the land of beer (very large please) and sausage (and Oktoberfest!!). That's right, my last day of working my old tired office job is February 28th and from that day forward, I'm going to become a full time strap maker!! This plan has been in the works for a little while now, so as to minimize the interruption in strap production. Andrea, my beautiful wife has been in Munich since November 1st and has rented an apartment for us to live a Graefelfing Germany (her home town)on the out-skirts of Munich and most important to my function- a work space from which to create my straps for you full time. So, in the next Month, I've got a lot to do to move house and to put together a shipment to the Mother land (it is for me too since I was born in Germany). What this will mean to you, my wonderful customers is that I will have 50 good hours per week to work on building Dangeorus9straps to serve my customers faster. My turn around time is running about 4 weeks right now, which I'm not happy with and I suspect you, my customers aren't thrilled about either. I certainly hope to cut that back down to 10 days again. Most of my customers will still be based in the good old USA, and of course I'll be shipping worldwide, so never fear, the global reach of my leather watch strap empire will always be able to find my customers wherever they my be hiding.

My Astounding Customers!!

A couple of weeks ago I stated in this blog how wonderful it is to have customers that are so happy with their Dangerous9straps that they take the time to make wonderful photos of them on their watch and send them along with a thank you note and that I'm simply astounded that they would take the time to write a review of their possitive experience and post these with photos on various forums and share their possitive feedback with the world. Well, it's happened again: My very good customer Chris as sent along some photo of his BR02 all mounted up to a couple of Dangerous9straps. A Serpentine colored Ostrich leg strap and a Black leather with emergency orange. He has also been very generous with his praise and his time by posting a review of a 3rd strap that I made for his Lum-Tec M25. Below of some photos from the review. If you'd like to read the full review in watchtalkforum, click the link Here: Lum-Tec M25 & the D9 experience. What can I say, except that you have my profound gratitude for your very generous efforts? Business is really exploding here at D9 headquarters, and since I've never up to now spent a dollar on advertising, much of the credit goes to my customers sharing their excitment about their new Dangerous9straps!!

Antique Mahogany for BR02

Here is a strap I just completed for a cutomer that wanted me to build him an Antique Mahogany strap with cream stitching for his BR02. This is a color combo that's really popular among my PAM wearing customers and I think look pretty steller on the BR02 as well. It's just a really classic combo on a really classy watch. Check the nice tight fitment - NICE!!

Hi strap lovers. Most of you that are familiar with Dangerous9straps know that I specialize in custom handmade leather, Ammo leather, Caiman, Ostrich and stingray skin straps for almost any watch that you love owning and wearing enough to treat with a bespoke strap. That said I do make and keep in stock a small selection of pre-made straps that I list for sale in sales threads on various forums and websites such as BR-avo.com, Watchuseek.com and Paneristi.com I have to say that I've been so busy of late that I've not had time to list all the straps that I have available and to maintain these sales threads as much as I would like. So for those of you who are interested in seeing some of the straps that I have on hand for immediate purchase, here is a slide show that you might enjoy. Black Hornback for BR02

Hi strap lovers, Here's a strap that I just completed for my good customer Jean-Marc for France. I really like how it turned out. It's a Black hornback caiman skin with Charcoal grey stitching and it's a real looker. This one took a little extra fitment adjustments to satisfy Jean-Marc that it fit the BR02 just right, but I think the the extra work was worth the effort, because the fitment is perfect. This strap was based on a Hornback PAM style strap in the same color combo that Jean-Marc saw on my caiman straps slide show. He simply requested that I make it for a his BR02. This is almost never a problem. If you've seen a combo that you'd like built to fit your watch, let me know. Cheers!
